Firefox 3 launch date announced

The Firefox guys have the official announcement at http://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/index.php/2008/06/11/coming-tuesday-june-17th-firefox-3/ and plan to release Firefox 3 on Tuesday, June 17th.

So plan your parties and download fests accordingly! If you have not registered your party yet, you probably won't get the party packs in time for the launch day. BUT, you can still plan an event over the next few weeks... so please do celebrate with us whenever you have time!

Remember, if you want an official Firefox 3 party pack with all the goodies, you need to:

Cool photosynth

As usual i was browsing the net when i came over a new program developed by Microsoft. Its called photosynth. So i thought of trying it which i did and i have to tell you something. This thing is awesome. It has great potential.

Now about photosynth. Photosynth is an amazing new technology from Microsoft Live Labs that will change forever the way we think about digital photos.

This software takes a large collection of photos of a place or an object, analyzes them for similarities, and displays them in a reconstructed three-dimensional space.

With Photosynth we can:

• Walk or fly through a scene to see photos from any angle.
• Seamlessly zoom in or out of a photo whether it's megapixels or gigapixels in size.
• See where pictures were taken in relation to one another.
• Find similar photos to the one you're currently viewing.
• Send a collection - or a particular view of one - to a friend.

I have tried this and i am going to put some screenshots here. This software doesnot open in its own. It works with the browser. There are some requirements though. Its going to put lots of work on the graphic card. So it will not work with older cards. The requirements are give here:

I found another site similar to youmint.It seems there are lots of such site.It seems that advertisements have evolved a lot.
This site is called mGinger and it also gives you money for recieving ads and adding friends.
Hompage shows list of all those who have earned so far and how much they have earned and you wont believe this,but there are guys who have earned 8000 and 9000.Guess it really works.
